Andrew is passionate about promoting the well-being of Indigenous peoples through initiatives in Indigenous economic development. Andrew has over 25 years of experience in real estate investment, management and development and leads Hungerford Properties, a family real estate business with over $1.6B of assets under management and development.
 
Under Andrew’s leadership, its subsidiary Seven Generations Capital has integrated Indigenous values across its operations and is dedicated to impactful investments on Indigenous lands. These investments are designed to create meaningful outcomes to improve the well being of Indigenous communities in various areas, including income and wealth, work and job quality, housing, knowledge and skills, community engagement, and environmental quality.
 
In 2013, he was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40. Andrew is currently a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and an Advisory Board Member of the Queen’s University Smith School of Business. Previously, Andrew was the Chair of The Salvation Army Vancouver Harbour Light Community Council and a committee member for the construction of their largest facility in Canada. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University. Andrew is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, a registered Mortgage Broker in BC, a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA, CA), and a Certified Public Accountant in the U.S.A.
 
Andrew lives in Vancouver and raises his hands to the xwməθkwəýəm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7wmesh (Squamish), and Seĺíĺwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations for caring for these local lands since time immemorial.
