Cedar LNG
Cedar LNG, a proposed floating liquefied natural gas facility in Kitimat, B.C., represents the world’s first Indigenous majority-owned LNG project. Upon its completion, the Haisla Nation and the surrounding region will benefit from one of the cleanest environmental profiles globally. The facility will utilise natural gas, primarily used across British Columbia for heating homes and businesses. An estimated eight-kilometre-long pipeline will connect Cedar LNG to the Coastal GasLink pipeline.
