Robert Brant

Robert Brant serves as the esteemed Managing Partner of our London, England office, a role he has held since 1998. With a wealth of experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer, Rob specialises in transatlantic M&A, capital markets, and projects, making him a trusted advisor in navigating complex transactions between Canadian and UK/European entities.
 
Rob's expertise extends across a broad spectrum of industries, with a particular emphasis on energy and natural resources. He is renowned for his adept counsel to Canadian and international companies, guiding them through a myriad of M&A activities, corporate finance transactions, and commercial contracts, including new stock exchange listings. His notable clientele includes leading organisations such as Asanko Gold, CGI, CIBC, Enbridge, and TD Bank, among others.
 
In addition to his professional endeavours, Rob is deeply involved in various community and industry initiatives. As the past President of the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce and current Co-chair of its Energy Forum, he actively fosters cross-border business relations. Furthermore, Rob serves as the Chair of the Maple Leaf Trust, a prominent charity in the UK dedicated to supporting Canadians, particularly veterans and students residing in the United Kingdom, and organising the UK Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research.

Daniel Bornstein is a seasoned partner within the Business Law group at McCarthy Tétrault in Toronto, specialising in project development and transactions within the mining industry.
